How does The.Seat Pad work?

Temperature
The infrared heat emitted on the highest red setting goes up to 65 °C degrees. The heat you will experience is lower. Before the heat reaches you, it has to pass through the outer cover. On the highest setting, you will feel a temperature around 45 °C. This is the temperature we consider safe and responsible. Because your body makes direct contact with the 6 hot spots, you experience a wonderfully pleasant warmth.

Material
The.Seat Pad has a high cuddliness factor and is made of wonderfully soft woolly fabric. The blanket consists of an inner cover with 6 heating elements, which is attached to the outer cover with drawstrings. This prevents them from shifting from each other and the outer cover can be removed for machine washing. With the button in the leather label, you set temperature to 3 different settings. The 16,000 mAh battery can be recharged, allowing the heat blanket to be used wirelessly. The back has an anti-slip layer so that The.Seat Pad also stays on more slippery chairs.

Safety
All our products are extensively tested and bear the necessary seals of approval. The battery is protected against overheating and switches off when it gets too hot.

Technology

Infrared heating technology is used, more specifically FIR (Far Infra Red). This is a long-wave infrared, also known as IR-C, which penetrates the deeper layers of the body, heating it from the inside out. In simple terms, it means that water molecules present in ample quantities in humans and animals efficiently absorb energy and convert it into heat. Your body temperature rises as a result; you get nice and warm while the air around you remains cold. So the thermostat can be turned down a degree.

Health

Although there is as yet little medical evidence on the health effects of infrared heating in warming blankets and pillows, they can provide relief. Think of relieving stiffness of muscles and joints because the heat stimulates blood circulation and thus causes relaxation.

Durable

Because you are heated and not the room around you, the thermostat can be turned down a degree. One degree lower quickly means 6% less heating gases. And less heating means lower costs. And that's good for your wallet. That not only makes the environment happy, but you too!

Heating elements

In our designs, we have chosen several individual heat elements that are interconnected. The quantity of elements is matched to the size of the product so that the largest possible surface area is heated. Each product has a battery with a capacity that is again adjusted to the number of heating elements. This way, we make sure you can enjoy the warmth for as long as possible.
