The.Board is made of authentic French wagon parts that are no less than 80 to 100 years old. Originally, the wooden planks are very dark and raw. By scraping it back to 4 cm thickness, a beautiful smooth plank with a warm, robust appearance is created. Because every shelf is unique, every item is different. On both sides the presentation board is equipped with our characteristic buffalo leather handle, of course with Nikki.Amsterdam logo. That does not only look very nice, but is also very practical. The.Board is finished with a linseed oil so you can use it immediately.

How can I best maintain the quality of The.Board?

How do you apply linseed oil to The.Board?

If you don’t want to buy linseed oil, you can do the following. What you need is the juice of a lemon, oil and salt. Divide the juice of the lemon over The.Board and sprinkle with a tablespoon of salt. Once you’ve done this, you should gently rub it in with a tea towel or kitchen paper. Then rinse The.Board with warm water and let it dry completely. As soon as The.Board is dry, rub it in with two tablespoons of oil and let it soak in for 20 minutes. Repeat the greasing with the oil about 3-4 times.
