How does The.Plaid work?
Temperature
The infrared heat emitted on the highest red setting goes up to 65 °C degrees. The heat you will experience is lower. On the highest setting, you will reach a temperature of 45 °C. This is the temperature we consider safe and responsible. There are two reasons for this.
- Before the heat reaches you, it must first pass through the outer cover. This reduces heat.
- A heating blanket is more loose around you. There is less direct contact with the heating elements as there is, for example, with a pillow like The.Pillow. The same infrared technology is used in all our heating products. The effects are therefore the same, the experience may differ. So with The.Plaid, you not only enjoy the warmth, but also the comfort of a blanket with ‘body’ around you.

Material
The.Plaid has a high cuddliness factor and is made of wonderfully soft Teddy fleece. The blanket consists of an inner cover including heating elements and is attached to the outer cover with drawstrings. This way, they cannot move from each other and the outer cover can be removed for machine washing. With the button in the leather label, you adjust temperature to 3 different settings. The 20,000 mAh battery can be recharged, allowing the heat blanket to be used wirelessly.
Safety
All our products are extensively tested and bear the necessary seals of approval. The battery is protected against overheating and switches off when it gets too hot.
