Conscious use of materials and packaging is important to us. Not only to keep costs as low as possible, but especially for our planet. We do this by only producing high-quality products that last. And should something unexpectedly break down, the parts can be replaced. As a result, nothing needs to be thrown away unnecessarily.
For our packaging, we use unbleached cardboard, without colours. Maybe not so fancy, but better for the environment. And let’s face it, you don’t buy the product because the box looks so nice, right? All our packaging is made to measure, so that we need to transport as little air as possible. As a result, more packages fit into our means of transport and the box has a smaller carbon footprint.
Cozy and Cost-Effective!
Of course, our heating products are sustainable in themselves. This is because they only heat what is needed, which is you! Because your body is heated from the inside out, there is no longer a need to heat the entire room. As a result, the thermostat can be set one degree lower. Sustainable and good for your wallet.
To optimally heat the products, we use powerbanks. The capacity of each powerbank is tailored to the product. For example, The.Plaid requires a heavier powerbank than The.Wrap. This is due to the number of heating elements in the products. Of course, we want you to enjoy your product as long as possible without having to recharge the battery every time. Again, this saves a bit. And every little helps!

And no, we will not solve the climate problem. But we do try to be aware of the choices we make. And we try to inform our customers as comprehensively as possible about our products. By using clear photos, creating clear expectations (see also the section on perception) and providing extensive product information. The technology
What technology is used?
FIR (Far Infra Red)
Our heat products use FIR (Far Infra Red) radiation. This is a long-wave infrared that penetrates the deeper layers of the body, heating it from the inside out. The radiation is absorbed by the cells deep inside the body, which safely increases body temperature.
The heat elements are evenly distributed throughout the products and are incorporated into the inner sleeve of the heat products. A wireless battery, The Powerbank, powers the elements. This means you are not stuck with a wall socket and can take your product anywhere. Via the button on the outside, you set the heat setting you feel most comfortable with.
3 settings
Our heating products feature a beautiful leather label with a button. This allows you to set your product to the desired setting, ranging from 35 to 45 degrees. This is indicated by 3 the colours green, blue and red. When you hold the button down for 3 seconds, it will switch on and keep fading to the colour red. After this, the button automatically jumps to the blue colour, after which you can set your product to the desired colour.
When you turn the product off, this button will keep flashing from time to time. This means that The.Powerbank is still connected and in standby mode.
By the way, it takes 10 min for your product to fully heat up.
The.Powerbank
All our products are completely wireless to use as they come with a rechargeable battery The.Powerbank. Each product has its own powerbank. For example, the smaller products come with a 16,000 mAh powerbank and the larger ones with a 20,000 mAH powerbank. This is because the larger products are equipped with more heat elements than the smaller products. This way, we make sure you can get the most out of each product.
Each powerbank is equipped with 2 USB inputs. This also makes it possible, for example, to charge your phone on a laptop. The powerbank itself is powered by a 5V/2A plug block. Plug blocks with higher power contribute to a shorter lifespan of the powerbank and we do not recommend using them.
Experience
Although the same technology is used for all products, we would like to mention that the perception of heat may be different for different products. Because the body is in direct contact with the heating elements (such as The.Pillow) and presses against them in some products, it seems as if the elements in these products become warmer compared to, for example, The.Plaid, which lies loosely around you. Nothing could be further from the truth. The radiation is certainly not less and the body is heated in the same way. So with The.Plaid, you not only enjoy the effects of radiation, but also a blanket with “body” around you.
The fabric
Extra attention has been paid to the fabric. It has to be able to take a beating, have a nice colour, but above all be wonderfully soft. So that you, your housemate and even your pet can enjoy it. Not only from warmth but also from cuddly soft Teddy fleece. All our warming products use the same fabric, so they perfectly match any interior
Did you know that Fleece is the English word for fur. By knitting very loosely and washing the knitted fabric afterwards, it shrinks considerably. After this, it is roughened and sheared on two sides. This results in the look and feel of a lambskin. Wonderfully soft and comfortable.
The inner cover can be removed so that the outer layer can simply be machine washed. You simply press the button out of the label. Do this at 30 degrees and then hang the cover to dry. We do not recommend using a tumble dryer. Afterwards, the blanket will be as soft as before washing. The leather label will not lose any of its quality.
